Monthly Challenge Insight 2024 – Your Accountability Partner
January 2024: New Year Old Me, Staying Accountable.
I brainstormed my intentions for 2024 with my fellow creative friends – to stay accountable.
The plan is to do a new challenge each month starting with February, where I get to do a 28-day content challenge. Posting videos daily on Instagram and TikTok makes me cringe, because I find using social media often daunting. However, such a challenge is not new to me. I had done this in 2023 Q3 and Q4, where I posted daily on these platforms for 30 days, and oh boy, did I learn a lot.
To keep the spirit going, I launched an accountability group for anyone interested in challenging themselves either to meet their business goals or personal goals. To access the group membership, a tiny fee is required because this is a sign of commitment to your goals.
With this group, you get support and resources from the community and myself, a weekly Zoom meeting call, and constructive feedback to assist you in your goals. No jugdement, no spam, no pressure. You have the power to make a difference in your life, and I am here to cheer you on!
Here is the access to sign up.
February Content Challenge Was Challenging.
Wheww..
The Content challenge for Q1 is done and dusted! I can’t say I didn’t feel the nudge to quit halfway but we made it. After 28 days of posting videos daily on Tiktok and Instagram, here is what I learnt:
- To attract new audiences and retain them, create bingeable content. You can do this by using a theme for example a talking GRWM video style every day, or you can have a mini-series. People love to follow the journey, take them through your daily series while maintaining the same style, tone, quality and vibe. The theme for this content challenge was to share wellness and content tips for the everyday girl scrolling at 6 pm on her way home from work. I did this by talking straight to the camera in a relaxed, no-aesthetic style. How did that do? Good or bad idea?
- Quality matters. Not that I didn’t know this before, but I want to eat my cake and have it. What if I just put in low effort, film and edit the videos with my phone, and post at night? Would I still get views? This was a risky decision and I learnt my lessons. No, don’t do that. People can tell when you put effort into making a video if the purpose is to educate or entertain. How will they listen to you if the video quality isn’t bright, the audio isn’t crisp, and you don’t look put together like you’re about to step out of the house for brunch? Aesthetic matters because we are visual beings. If you package gold inside a crumbled stained paper, you probably won’t find a buyer for your gold. I learnt to put in effort and details whenever I needed to present myself online. Yes, it is a presentation.
- Master your cadency. If people know you post every morning, they most likely will anticipate and tune in. If there isn’t a posting schedule, the audience will be confused. If I am being honest, this was a struggle. Posting late in the evenings wasn’t the best strategy.
- Having an accountability partner kept me up on days I felt like giving up. You can join my group.
- Pray, strategize, bulk create, post. A huge part of how well your content does is based on the algorithm, so pray for luck.
- However, posting valuable content daily for a month will make at least one of your content go viral. One of my videos was, on TikTok.
- I learnt not to let the numbers discourage you, we go again next quarter!

March 30 Day Wellness Challenge
We ended the first quarter of 2024 strong, with a whole month of self-care! After the stress of pushing daily content and dancing to the algorithm last month, march was the perfect time to detox and reset for Q2. I created and shared my 30-day self-care challenge guide with the community, for anyone who would like to follow along or incorporate self-care practices into their daily routine.
For this month, I went back to posting once a week on social media (as it was not a priority), and focused more on being present in my daily routine and school work. This also gave me enough time to finish a self-care workbook I had been creating since last year!
(*cough* drumroll please)
I’m thrilled to share my brand new comprehensive self-care workbook that’s as life-changing as it is game-changing.
It’s packed with templates, prompts, and guides created for busy adults who want to prioritize their well-being and thrive in every aspect of life. I genuinely believe it’ll produce a ripple effect on those around you—I can’t wait for you to get your hands on it.
